About Us
The Alaska Gasline Development Corporation (AGDC) was formed as a subsidiary corporation under the corporate umbrella of Alaska Housing Finance Corporation during the regular State of Alaska 2010 legislative session. As a corporation with significant expertise in project oversight and State finance experience, Alaska Housing Finance Corporation was determined to be a uniquely appropriate corporation to lead the pipeline project team. The legislative mandate for AGDC, which is stated in House Bill 369, directs the AGDC staff and In-State Team to produce a project plan for the development of an in-state natural gas pipeline and present the plan to the legislature by July 1, 2011.
