Calendar of Engagements

ASAP Community Meeting Calendar 

Members of the Alaska Stand Alone Gas Pipeline/ASAP Project team will be visiting the following communities and organizations to educate Alaskans on the in-state pipeline progress and status.  If you are interested in receiving information on the ASAP project, if you would like more information on the meetings being held, or if your community would like to hear from the ASAP project team, please contact the project office.

  • Healy – June 12, 2012 | 6:00PM – 8:00PM | Denali Borough Building
    Members of the community of Healy are invited to a community meeting and presentation on the status of the in-state natural gas project known as the ASAP project.  Members from the project office will be on hand to provide a project update and answer questions; food and beverages will be served; attendees are invited to sign-up for the door prize drawing.
  • Nenana – June 13, 2012 | 6:00PM – 8:00PM | Tribal Hall
    Members of the community of Nenana are invited to a community meeting and presentation on the status of the in-state natural gas project known as the ASAP project.  Members from the project office will be on hand to provide a project update and answer questions; food and beverages will be served; attendees are invited to sign-up for the door prize drawing.
  • Manley Hot Springs – June 19, 2012 | 12:30PM – 2:00PM | MHS Community Center
    Members of the community of Manley Hot Springs are invited to a community meeting and presentation on the status of the in-state natural gas project known as the ASAP project.  Members from the project office will be on hand to provide a project update and answer questions; food and beverages will be served; attendees are invited to sign-up for the door prize drawing.
  • Minto Village – June 19, 2012 | 5:30PM – 7:30PM | Minto Lodge
    Members of the community of Minto are invited to a community meeting and presentation on the status of the in-state natural gas project known as the ASAP project.  Members from the project office will be on hand to provide a project update and answer questions; food and beverages will be served; attendees are invited to sign-up for the door prize drawing.
  • Fairbanks – June 26, 2012 | 6:00PM – 8:00PM | Westmark Hotel, Gold Room
    A project overview and update will be provided by Dan Fauske and members of the ASAP project team.  The public is encouraged to attend and hear about the continuing work being performed on the Alaska Stand Alone Gas Pipeline project.  Refreshments will be served.

Past Community Meetings | 2012

  • Barrow: April 12, 2012, 6:00 – 8:00PM | Inupiat Heritage Center
    The residents of Barrow are invited to a presentation on the status of the ASAP pipeline, members from the project office will be on hand to answer questions; food and beverages will be served and door prizes will be offered.
  • Anchorage: January 25, 2012, 6:00pm – 8:00pm | Crowne Plaza, mid-town Anchorage at the corner of International Airport Road and C Street
    A project overview and update will be provided by Dan Fauske and members of the ASAP team will be present to answer Project questions.  The public is encouraged to attend and learn about the ASAP project. Refreshments will be served.

ASAP Public Comment Period Closed April 4, 2012 on the ASAP Draft Environmental Impact Statement

The Alaska Stand Alone Gas Pipeline/ASAP project is working on the project Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).  Public meetings were held in the communities listed below to collect public comment from the communities along the proposed alignment.  Comments will be addressed in the EIS; the ASAP project expects to have the EIS early summer 2012.
